Course Description
This course guides students in learning basic materials and techniques, with emphasis on drawing as a primary means for the description and interpretation of people and their environment. Although this class is designed for beginners, these projects will be interesting to aspiring and practiced artists alike. Coursework includes still life, landscape, and life drawing assignments. Fundamentals of visual language are also addressed.
Course Section Description
Hybrid Session starts 6-18-2022 ends 8-13-2022. Face-to-face on campus meetings Thursdays. Online asynchronous learning via Brightspace complements live meetings (https://learn.urbancollege.edu). Students will need their UCB email account to gain access starting on the first day of class.
