Course Description
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic principles of nutrition science by examining the relationship between nutrient intake and health. An understanding of basic nutrition will provide students with the knowledge necessary to identity valid nutritional claims. Students will begin to understand what they have learned about nutrition and apply it to their daily life.Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG101L or higher
