Introduction to Humanities (HUM106)

Course Description

This course provides an introduction the humanities through various art forms including music, theatre, visual and design art forms as well as literature and philosophy. Students will explore global cultures through the humanities and develop tools for gaining a deeper understanding of the great artistic works of human cultures and the enduring truths ab out human life that are expressed in these works.

Course Section Description

This is a 10 week online course with no set meeting times. Students will need their UCB email account to gain access to the course (via Brightspace https://learn.urbancollege.edu). Class access starts on the first day of the session. Students need a laptop or computer beginning on Day 1 of the course.
